IN THEIR OWN WORDS: Customer Feedback:
hello. I bought my husband's wedding band from you almost 2years ago. I wanted to let you know he gets compliments everyday on it. We thoroughly enjoy it, and it's meaning. We've given your info out many times. Keep up the good work, you are truly a gifted artist.  Christina.

Rings To Fall In Love With By John Urban

My Celtic collection of unique engagement rings and wedding rings feature 1 to 3 fine white diamonds set low and smooth. This type of setting protects the diamonds from impacts, keeps them clean; and with no high prongs to snag on clothing, they can also be worn with gloves. (Women would never ungraciously complain about a ring presented by their suitor, but they've told me privately they much prefer my smooth, low, practical style of diamond setting to those snaggy high prong settings you see everywhere).

Unlike common mass-produced rings in standard jewelry stores, you won't find my original and copyrighted designs anywhere else. I do not wholesale, so there is no middleman to increase the price. I make only to order, directly for the customer. Every ring order results in a custom engagement ring, or custom wedding ring.

You also have the option of adding a superb hand-engraved inscription, to further personalize the expression of your love.

Celtic Tree-of-Life custom wedding and engagement rings

This design is rich in symbolic meaning, and the nice thing about symbols, is that they communicate without the use of words. So, if you are drawn to this pattern, but are not sure why, it probably is because its symbolic themes resonate in your life as well. Those themes would be: fertility in nature, birth, growth, death, the cycle of life, and the resurrection that comes with Spring. Inspired by an illustration of the Tree-of-Life in the Book of Kells, I created this design in order to make a variety of unique Celtic wedding rings and engagement rings, such as you see here.

A magnificent Celtic artifact found in the River Thames at Battersea, England was my inspiration for this design. I modified some of its design elements to create this pair of unique Celtic wedding rings. It is available with either one .10 carat fine diamond, or three of them. It can also be a family ring, with places for three birthstones.

The ring above on the left has three .10 carat fine white diamonds, and is 5.25mm wide. The ring supporting it has one .10 carat fine white diamond, and is a slightly larger proportion, 6.5mm wide.

The picture above shows the terminations of this Battersea design on the underside of the ring.

Below; the custom engagement ring on the left, without gemstones, is 7mm wide, and its partner, with .30 carats of fine diamonds, is 5mm wide.

The Celts were exceptional in their ability to reinterpret and improve upon designs from earlier cultures, turning them into something special by adding grace and rhythm. This is such a design. I find it simple, yet pleasing and elegant.

Shown below are two proportions of this remarkable design set with fine white diamonds. The leaning ring is 7mm wide, with a .15 carat diamond; the ring supporting it is 5.25mm wide, with a .10 carat diamond that can't be seen, as we're viewing its underside, to see how the design flows around the ring.

Before France existed, when that area was known as Gaul, its Celtic inhabitants had developed graceful curved templates to aid in drawing, carving, and engraving their artwork. Even those who conquered the Celts admired their artistic skills, and long after their culture was assimilated in Europe, their drawing tools remained in use. These came to be known as French Curves

A Celtic artifact from long ago was my inspiration for creating this new and unique wedding ring design, which harmoniously combines a variety of changing and spiraling Celtic curves.

Shown above, without diamonds, the upper ring is 7mm wide, in 14kt yellow gold. The ring below it, with .20 carats of fine white diamonds, is slightly wider.

For lovers of classic Irish jewelry, here is a lovely interweave that can serve as an engagement ring or wedding ring, with one or three diamonds, or just with raised gold bumpers. The lower photo shows a unique pair of wedding rings, with one ring in 14kt yellow gold, with white gold bumpers; the ring beside it is in sterling silver, with rose gold bumpers.

Shown above on right with 30 points of fine diamonds in 14kt white gold. Also available with a 15-point centre diamond, totalling 35 points. On bottom, shown with 45 points of diamonds in 14kt yellow gold. (One carat = 100 points).

Shown here are 35 points of fine diamonds, set in 14kt rose gold. There is a big visual difference in setting white diamonds in rose, or yellow gold, compared to white gold. Which do you prefer?

All my Celtic ring styles suitable for one gemstone can be adapted to accept 3 small faceted gemstones of equal size. Birthstones are of varying hardnesses, and the softer stones will show some wear before the harder ones will, especially if the ring is worn every day. Harder stones are best for the long-term.

Rings For 3 Gemstones Pricing

This ring has my domed Brentford pattern on top, and Triskels patterns on both sides of the shank. It is shown set with 3 white sapphires; but the stones would show more sparkle if they were diamonds, or cubic zirconias. Being recessed the stones are protected, and are firmly set without the use of claws, making it smooth on top and completely snag-free. This 14kt ring currently costs $1,540, plus gemstones. It looks better set with white, clear gemstones, than it does with coloured gems.

Please inquire regarding stone possibilities and prices.
